All the recent windows updates like Windows 7, 8, and 10 have a built-in feature called Internet Connection Sharing(ICS) which allows you to share your computer internet connection to the 360.

Also, most universities ask to register the MAC address to connect XBOX 360 to internet, or they won’t allow 360 to connect to the internet. Now they won’t be able to know that you have a 360, this will let them think that you just have your computer with you.

Physical Setup

Here we require an ethernet cable to connect Xbox 360 to internet through laptop in Windows 10. If you have connected your laptop to the router using an ethernet cable, you can just connect the router directly to your 360 using that ethernet cable. This solution will not solve the MAC address issue. Let’s consider that your computer has internet using the wifi. Now connect your Xbox 360 to your computer using the ethernet cable.
